Snow Fun

The kids loved playing in the snow. We made a snowman with Jim's cousin and went sledding at her house. She has great hill in the pasture next to her house that is great for kids. Emily would go down as many times as she could. "M
e do it" she would say. Everyone had a great tiem and can't wait for it to snow again.

Butter Anyone!!

We had just had blueberry muffins for breakfast, Mary got the butter out again to have another one while I hoped in the shower and apparently Emily wanted some butter. You should have seen the clumps on the back of her head. She loves to get into EVERYTHING.( she has already pulled down our Christmas trees) She loves to climb and just be one of the big kids, but we love her anyway!

Disney on Ice

Saturday we went to Disney on Ice. The kids loved it. Mary sat just mezmorized and would get so excited when a different princess would come out. She only got a little nervous when she realized that witch was going to come out. James loved it as well. Emily liked it but it was a little long for her. It was fun. We went with Jim's brother Dane and wife Andrea and their girls, Emma and Gracie.Thursday, November 5, 2009
New York, New York!!!
We had a great time on our trip to New York a couple of weeks ago. We went with George & Kimberli Tripp and visited Matt & Jessica Callan who live in Buffalo, NY. We spent a day in Palmyra and visited all the church sites there.

We spent a day at Niagra Falls

We went a day before George & Kimberli and spent the day in New York city. We took a bus tour to all the sites around town. We went to dinner at Bobby Flay's restaurant (a chief on food network and he was actually there) and to West Side Story. We had a great time and thanks to the Grandmas for watching the kids. You can also look at the Tripp's blog for more pictures.

A little dirt never hurt
James loves to go and play with the neighbors. One of the things they like to do lately is dig. I think that was what they were doing this day. He came in and I told him to go wash his hands and then I took another look ( and I don't think the picture did him justice) and he had to have the most dreaded event in the house. A shower! He now thinks shower aren't so bad, but still prefers a bath.
James has been playing soccer again and loving it. One day he scored for his team in the 1st quater. Switched teams the 2nd quater to even out the numbers, scored a goal for their team. 3rd quater he was back with his team and scored another one and 4th quater he was the goalie. He scored the only goals in the game. He sometimes needs to be cautioned of excessive celebration.

Camping
Over Labor Day Weekend we spent a night camping in the canyon just 15 minutes from our house. My Grandpa and Grandma Coats came up for the evening and my Grandpa and Grandma Johnson, my parents stayed the night with us. My sister Angelia and her husband Ryan spent the evening with us then camped in a different canyon to look for elk. The kids thought that it was so much fun. We had lots of smores. The kids just keep talking about it.
