Christmas Traditions

Mary was so proud that she lost her first two teeth.
A couple of weeks ago James asked me if we had any Christmas traditions, we talked about some and yes we have been doing it. My mom made gingerbread houses and we spent and evening putting them together.  The kids had a great time and did pretty good. James and Mary even did pretty good with the frosting bags. Mary liked to put a big glob of frosting and then decorate it. James wasn't worried about what the house looked like, he just didn't want any part of the yard bear. Emily just would grab a piece of candy and put it anywhere.

It had been a few years since we had been to see the lights at Temple Square. It was beautiful and crowded. James really enjoyed seeing the nativities from different places. Mary got cold.

We made Christmas sugar cookies with Grandma Stephenson and all the crew! The kids had a great time!

first snow

Emily was so excited for it to start to snow. She wanted to go out and make a "snowflake" so she went and made and snow angel and got James and Mary to help her make a snowman.

Fall Pictures

The kids are growing fast. James is 7 and in 2nd grade. He likes school and does really well. He likes to talk and gets in trouble for that but other than that he is a pretty good kid. He loves sports and has recently found ESPN.  He is also doing well at the piano.

Mary is 5 and in Kindergarten. She also likes school and is starting to read. Mary is excited that this year she finally gets to do dance. Mary is all girl and loves to do her hair. She is also a good helper to me, she loves to help me in whatever I am doing.

Emily is 3 and in pre-preschool. She loves it and can now write an "E" which is exciting. She is full of spunk and quite animated. She is quite loving and wants to be as big as the other kids.

We are grateful to have such fun good kids!

What we have been up to!

A few weekends ago we went and camped up on top of the mountain when all the men were rounding up the cows. The kids had a great time running around and got a turn riding the horses. Not to many pictures it was a fast camp. Kept me busy, we had a great time though.

Cousins Gracie and Maya were over to play!
James has been playing flay football and loving it! He even caught a pass for a touchdown.

James has also been playing soccer. He is a happy boy if he is playing ball.

We went up the canyon for some family activities with the deer hunt. We had fun visiting and got some fun pictures.

This is one of the few pictures of these four cousins all the same age. It has been hard to get them all happy and awake at the same time and in the same place. They are getting big fast!

Self-photo by Mary. She got ahold of the camera and took all sorts of pictures

Lake Powell - Again!!!!!

We couldn't resist the chance to go to Lake Powell again. This time we went with some dental school friends and some new friends. We had a great time!

Must have hit a bump, but I love the expressions on their faces!
Our crew on the way to rainbow.

 My cute flag girls!

 James really likes to fish.
Emily likes the new ski, so do the other kids but I was pulling them on the jet ski and couldn't get a picture.
