Girls, Girls, Girls!!!

I guess this is what you do when your mom won't let you pierce your ears!

 Mary is loves to put clips in her hair. I have to talk real hard to get out of the house with just one. 

I missed the best picture, it was all the way down both sides.

Pioneer Day

 Here is James'  picture that he wanted to be on the float.

 We combined with some of Jim's cousins for the Sam & Della Hunter float. Jim's great-grandparents for the parade.

 After the parade there was a big breakfast and kid games and races. Emily had fun running once she figured out what was going on. James took 3rd in the 7 year olds, which was quite serious and competitive for a few of them. Mary did not want to run this year.

 The girls dug for money in the sand pile and James tried the gunnysack race

 James loved the bottle rocket contest and was quite proud of the rocket. 

 We had fireworks in the dental office parking lot. It was a lot of fun and the new ariel fireworks were cool. We will have to get more of those next year. Emily was excited when she heard that we were getting them. She was telling people we were getting princess fireworks.

Lake Powell

We had a great time spending a few days at Lake Powell.   

 James caught two fish!

 James and Emily both kneeboarded. Thanks Chelsey for helping. Emily is like a little fish with no fear.

4th of July

Our 4th of July started out with breakfast at Angelia's house and then to the parade. Then we spent the afternoon at the lake.
