He's 6 years Old!!!!!

James turned 6 years old on Tuesday. On Monday we celebrated at the pool with family. It was lots of fun. On Tuesday we went to Toy Story 3. James loved it until the end when he started to cry because Andy was going to college. James is going to take all of his toys to college when he goes. He is such a fun little boy and we are so happy to have him. A quick little story about James that happened a few weeks ago. James' cousins grandma died and James and Mary were asked to sing with them at Grandma Sandy's funeral. They were singing the new primary song "I know that my Savior loves me". During the song Mason started to cry. One of the members of the stake presidency told us that James reached over and started rubbing his back trying to comfort him. He just keeped singing and none of the rest of us could see this. He is such a fun little boy, who is growing up fast.

Emily is a little fish who is not scared of anything, but it scares me.

Mary a bit more cautious was daring enough to go down the slide once.

Youth Conference

*** Pictures are in reverse order.

Jim and I and his cousin Fawn were in charge of Youth Conference for our ward. We did a Handcart Trek from the church parking lot to the campground up above town. It was about 7.5 miles all up hill. We thought that it would take all day. With stops for pioneer stories and trying to make it last a little longer we got there are 2:15. The kids were great and they had lots of free time. The next we had a service project, a big race ( three legged race, saw a log, paintball target, fill a jar with a spoon, watermelon eating, etc) the kids thought that was fun, a speaker on the history of the canyon and how things were in town when he was boy (when they got running water, logging, power, etc) then we went on a big spiritual scavanger hunt/ hike. We had a good program and testimony meeting that night. Everything turned out good and we are glad it is over.

We wore out the Bishop

Jim, Fawn and I who were in charge of Youth Conference
We did a scavanger hunt where we ended up on top of a hill that overlooked that valley and raised a flag and had the kids committ to "Be strong and of a good courage" which
is the theme for the youth of the church this year

What we have been up to!!

Baseball time again!

We have a big irrigation ditch in front of our house. James and his cousins think it is cool to see what kind of critters are in the bottom when the water is out.

James was thrilled to finally lose his first tooth. The second came out two days later. If you look close you can see the new one behind, yes he has been shark with rows of teeth. He was happy that his teeth came out by themselves narrowly missing a trip to the dentist office to get them pulled.

The school has an annual progam at the end of the year which is alway entertaining. James has had a great year in Kindergarten and is excited to go to 1st grade

Emily has been talking about this for weeks

Moving cattle!

Mary was finally brave enough to go for a ride!
