Christmas!!!!

Emily had a preschool program where they sang a few songs. She really enjoys school and liked to sing the songs and shake her hips.

Our ward Christmas party is held of Christmas Eve it has been forever. The primary is in charge and this year that was me. I had some kids sing in pairs verses of the nativity song. Mary was one of those chosen to sing. She would not sing in the practices (which made me quite frustrated), I did not know it she was going to do it. She did it and did very well. I have tried to put the video on here but I can't figure it out so here is the picture.
After the nativity the kids sings and Santa comes and they all get to sit on his lap and get a bag of candy.

Mary got Barbie hair that you can send through the printer and put designs on and then clip in her hair. She was thrilled! She had written her letter to Santa in October, after seeing it on a commerical.
James (aka Jedi James) is was into Star Wars. He was excited to get a Jedi cape, 3 light sabers that "look real in the dark" (questionable after he beheaded a wiseman a week before Christmas with his old light saber) and the lego millenial falcon.

Emily and her Rapunzel. She was so excited. It is a good thing she saw Santa early in the night. If you notice her hands that is the fingernail polish that she got all over her, the wall and mostly on the carpet right by her bed after she was sent to bed Christmas Eve.
One of the favorite things "Dr. Drill and Fill" playdoh set. The kids had fun making teeth and doing filling and root canals and all the other dental terminology that they know.

Jim and Mike helped James build the Millenial Falcon. It was quite the project, but he loves it!

Is it terrible that I laughed really hard at the beheaded wiseman and the fingernail polish incidents? I'm sure it wasn't so funny at the time! Looks like you guys had a great Christmas. I'm glad you posted some pics since we never seem to catch each other on the phone. :) The kids looked so cute in their Sunday best!

Miss you!
